Chennai-born social activist and musician raps about Unilever's Kodaikanal mercury poisoning

Calling on multinational company Unilever to take responsiblity for the mercury contamination in Kodaikanal, Chennai-born social activist and rap artist Sofia Ashraf has released a music video inspired by Nicki Minaj's song "Anaconda" that has gone viral in India.

The music video entitled "Kodaikanal Won't" is part of a campaign that aims to put an end to 14 years of injustice experienced by former Unilever employees and local residents who have suffered from the mercury poisoning that Unilever left after it shut down its operations in the city.
