Health Care Without Harm Asia is pleased to announce the release of its 2016 Annual Report.
"The 2016 HCWH Asia Annual Report highlights our key accomplishments in the past year and the continuous expansion of our work in the region," said Executive Director Ramon San Pascual. "The past two years have established our work in pushing the health sector to use its power and influence in pressuring society to urgently confront the climate crisis. We empowered our hospitals and health systems to build climate-resilient health facilities through the Global Green and Healthy Hospitals network. We continued to create greater awareness on the health impacts of our energy choices through the Healthy Energy Initiative. And we urged governments to help the health sector mi gate the impacts of climate change."
"For 2017 and beyond, HCWH Asia will further push its organizing and campaigning work within health care among policy-makers and the general public."
